Tourist Visa
- Submit your U.S. passport, must be signed and have at least 6 months remaining validity
- 1 Visa Application Form, completed and signed
- 1 Passport-type photograph
- Copy of round trip tickets or itinerary
- Minor children will also require a notarized letter of parental or legal guardian consent to travel.
Business Visa
- Submit your U.S. passport, must be signed and have at least 6 months remaining validity
- 1 Visa Application Form, completed and signed
- 1 Passport type photograph
- A business letter of responsibility (sample) is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:
Embassy of Suriname, Visa Section, Washington D.C.
The letter should state all of the following: - Nature of business to be performed
- Business reference in Suriname to be visited
- Company guarantee of financial responsibility for the applicant, and their return transportation to the USA.

Visa Notes
- Special requirements apply for holders of U.S. Official and Diplomatic passport holders. These requirements are for regular U.S. passport holders traveling for tourism or business:
- Visa validity is based on validity of US passport. Most visas are good for Multiple entries for at least 1 year or up to life time of the passport. Normal processing time of 5-7 business days is required, but urgent applications, accompanied by a travel itinerary, may request urgent service.
- Passport must have at least six months remaining validity and contain at least one blank visa page for visa to be issued.
