Tourist Visa
- Submit your U.S. Passport (must have at least 6 months remaining validity)
- 1 Visa Application Form Must be completed ONLINE then printed and signed
- 1 Passport-type photograph
- Copy of airline flight itinerary
- For private visits (visiting family etc. and not staying in a hotel) an Invitation Letter, issued by the Immigration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan, is required.
- For Tourist Visas a tourist voucher is required from the national tourism company "UZBEKTOURISM" or from authorized travel agencies:
Business Visa
- Submit your U.S. Passport (must have at least 6 months remaining)
- 1 Visa Application Form Must be completed ONLINE then printed and signed
- 1 Passport-type photograph
- Your host Company or organization in Uzbekistan must also contact the Consular Department of the Uzbek Ministry of Foreign Affairs to have an invitation approved and sent to the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Washington DC (and a copy sent to the traveler if possible) on your behalf. The visa is not issued until the approval is received by the Embassy.

Please note that the visa application form must be fully completed ONLINE and then printed and signed. Handwritten applications are not accepted.
The visa validity is determined solely by the visa office at the time of issue. Visa validity ranges from single entry visa, valid for entry two months from the date of issue, to multiple entries visa valid for entry for up to 3 years. Period of stay is usually up to 30 days each visit.
Some tourist visa applications may be referred to the home government for approval. Approval in these cases may take 4-6 weeks.
