Tourist Visa
- If travelling by commercial airline, a tourist card can be obtained at airport on arrival. If travelling by private transportation or by land, a visa is required.
- Submit your valid, signed U.S. Passport
- 1 Application form, completed and signed
- 2 Passport-type photographs
- Copy of airline tickets or itinerary
- Certification of employment, specifying the following: length of employment, position, salary.
- Bank reference letter (not a bank statement) verifying opening date, number and type of account, current balance.
Business Visa
- Submit your valid, signed U.S. Passport
- 1 Application form, completed and signed
- 2 Passport-type photographs
- Copy of airline tickets or itinerary
- A business letter of responsibility is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:
Embassy of Venezuela, Visa Section,
The letter must explain all of the following: - The traveler's position with the Company
- Purpose of travel
- Reference to be visited in Venezuela
- Guarantee financial support and return transportation to the U.S. for the applicant.
- The letter should be signed by a company officer other than the applicant.
- Consular Fee:
$30.00 per visa - Tourist Visa
$60.00 per visa - Business Visa
Visa Information
- The Venezuela tourist visa is usually issued for a single entry within 90 days of issue date, for stay of up to 90 days.
- The Venezuela business visa is usually issued for multiple entries within one year of issue date, provided the passport remains valid, for stay of up to 90 days each entry.
- All persons holding a business visa must obtain an income declaration (Declaracion de Rentas) from the Ministry of Finance (Ministerio de Hacienda) in Caracas. It will be required at time of departure from Venezuela.
- Passport must have at least six months remaining validity and contain at least one blank visa page for visa to be issued.
